I’m Paulo Paiva, a visual artist with over 30 years in the game, with photography at the heart of everything I do. I got my start in the 90s as an assistant to Luiz Tripolli, where I sharpened my eye and built my creative discipline over six intense years on set. Since then, I’ve moved through cinema, advertising, and fashion editorials, always chasing strong imagery and visual storytelling that actually hits.
My work flows between photography and audiovisual, playing with rhythm, body, light, and identity. In my authorial project “Estro,” I dive straight into libido — raw, unfiltered, no masks — revealing layers of sensitivity, personality, and style, but above all, truth. The lens doesn’t lie. It exposes, provokes, and pulls you in.
“Estro” comes from instinct, desire, and pure creative drive. No shame, no filters — just freedom, diversity, and the many faces of libido in motion. I’m interested in that edge between aesthetics and instinct, between what’s intimate and what’s out there for everyone to see. It’s about presence, identity, and expression — stripped down and real, the way it is.
Eu sou Paulo Paiva, artista visual com mais de 30 anos de estrada, com a fotografia no centro de tudo que faço. Comecei nos anos 90 como assistente de Luiz Tripolli, onde afinei meu olhar e construí minha disciplina criativa em seis anos intensos de set. De lá pra cá, transitei por cinema, publicidade e editoriais de moda, sempre em busca de imagens fortes e de uma narrativa visual que realmente conecta.
Meu trabalho circula entre fotografia e audiovisual, explorando ritmo, corpo, luz e identidade. No meu projeto autoral “Estro”, mergulho direto na libido — crua, sem filtro, sem máscara — revelando camadas de sensibilidade, personalidade e estilo, mas acima de tudo, verdade. A lente não mente: ela expõe, provoca e puxa pra perto.
“Estro” nasce do instinto, do desejo e da pulsão criativa. Sem pudor, sem filtro — é sobre liberdade, diversidade e as múltiplas formas da libido em movimento. Me interessa esse lugar entre estética e instinto, entre o íntimo e o exposto. É sobre presença, identidade e expressão — direto, cru e real.
